High-torque IP65
High-torque IP65 rated stepper motors now available from Mclennan.
Mclennan Servo Supplies has introduced a new range of IP65 rated high-torque stepper motors from its USA based distribution partner AMP (Applied Motion Products Inc.). Aimed at severe environment applications where water spray and dust ingress are prevalent, the HW series covers NEMA sizes 23, 24 and 34 in a range of standard stack lengths for holding torque to 7.5Nm.
The new stepper motors feature front shaft seals, corrosion resistant sealed laminations, and a nickel plated brass cable gland. The electrical characteristics are designed for optimal performance for use with AMPs’ range of high performance microstepping drives - also available from Mclennan. Optional double shaft versions and IP65 rated rear mounted encoders for position feedback are also available along with an advanced internal coating for added protection in high humidly environments.
Mclennan supports AMP products and systems in the UK and French markets with a comprehensive product range including intelligent stepper and servo drives, motors and motion controllers that offer progressive levels of sophistication to suit application price and budget requirements. The technologies are available in a range of packaging formats and may be mixed for competitively priced multi-axis motion and machine control for use throughout industrial and OEM automated machine applications.
